Erin & Ryan’s wedding invite

Erin Invite

I worked with my niece and her fiance for just the look they wanted for their invitation. I printed them and then cut them individually in order to preserve the look of the names running off the edge of the invitation.

Spencerian Ladies Hand

I wanted to exaggerate the ascenders and descenders for a cool effect.

Creativity with typestyles

I wanted to send a card to Steph for her birthday and decided to utilize a different typestyle for each letter of her name.

BLOGThis is silver ink on a navy-blue envelope. I lettered it in a Spencerian ladies hand typestyle.

It’s Craft Show Season

I spent the past two weekends at Craft Shows lettering names, etc. on Christmas ornaments.
All my ornaments are glass. I letter, or add artwork, according to what the person would like on their ornament.  It’s a huge show, so after they peruse the many booths, they return and I have their item ready to go. Below are samples of ones I created this past weekend.  Feel free to contact me to create one for you!

Treasure Map

Before      After Photo

A friend asked me to create a treasure map for her grandchildren. They will all be together at the beach on Thanksgiving, so this is a perfect activity for them and a chance for Grandma to get rid of all her old coins from other countries.

I used gold parchment paper and lettered the title with a #1 Mitchell nib and Moon Palace Sumi ink. The directions were done with a .3 Staedtler pigment liner and the parrot drawn from one she liked.  The final thing was to roll it up a couple times and then burn the edges.  This will be rolled up and put into a wine bottle to be ‘discovered’ by the grandkids.
